For over 60 years, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston has united people of all faiths to provide services to citizens of the greater Houston area. As the population of Houston grows, so does the need for these services.

To keep up with the demand, IM launched a capital campaign in 2012 to expand its facilities from two confined spaces to one generous campus, giving us the room needed to enhance our services and outreach, engage and expand our volunteer corps, and broaden our reach into the community. Thanks to the generous response of our donors, we moved into our new home in the heart of Houston’s booming Midtown neighborhood in 2014.

Our new state-of-the-art Meals on Wheels Distribution Center, the W.T. & Louise J. Moran Building, enables us to meet the growing need of the region’s senior population. The Moran Center has the capacity to serve 8,000-10,000 meals a day, greater than a 100 percent increase from today! With our new facilities, we are also able to expand one of our most important services- helping facilitate dialogue between communities of faith - thanks to our beautiful, intimate Akbar Ali Jamal Great Hall located on the first floor of The Albert & Ethel Herzstein Building.

The needs of our community continue to grow, as does IM’s need for contributions from donors who share our mission to help others. Read more about our new facilities and how you can help IM sustain and enhance our new facilities.
