Question - Required - To protect those we serve, all Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston volunteers must consent to a criminal background check. If you do not consent, we will not process your application. I hereby give my permission for Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM) to obtain information relating to my residence and to conduct a criminal background check. I understand that this information will be used to determine my eligibility for a volunteer position with IM. I also understand that, if accepted into the volunteer program, as long as I remain a volunteer, IM may repeat this criminal background check at any time. I understand that volunteers with active cases, felonies, violent offenses, or misdemeanors that have occurred in the last 5 years will not be able to volunteer for IM. In order to begin volunteering with IM, you will need to attend an Orientation/Training session. After you submit this application, you will receive an e-mail providing dates and times for upcoming sessions. Feel free to attend any session that works with your schedule and we will be happy to get you plugged into serving with IM at that time. Thank you!
